(Excerpt from "Valiant & True" - the Michaelian Centennial Magazine)

Brother Dositheus
(Dosithee Le Du)

·        Brother Dositheus, a Breton ( French), succeeded Bro.Henry Jassaud in 1930.
·        He is remembered for his kindly nature, and he did a lot to encourage music in the school.
·        Soon, St Michael’s had its own Orchestra, and the training  it afforded to instrumentalists was carried on  in an Old Boys’ Orchestra which met for the first time  in 1936.
